A few weeks back Mrs. Kelly read “What Do You Do With an Idea?” by Kobi Yamada to the Grade 3 class.
After pitching different ideas around, Emily decided to have a candy sale. Emily donated some of her own money and together with money from other donors purchased some candy. Lots of candy. Over the last two weeks, during recess and lunch Emily, Melissa and various Grade 3 students have been filling candy bags and making posters. Candy bags will be on sale June 1 and 2 outside during lunch. Each bag is $5.00. Their goal is to sell 300 bags during this 2 day sale.
