Music in the outdoors! Mrs. Hamm took her music outside this week. The students delighted the birds with their musical talents amongst the beauty of this sunny week.
Mrs. Moore and her Grade 1 class took advantage of this glorious weather exploring the school’s garden and the many perennial herbs that are now sprouting. Mrs. Jamin’s crew was off to Allan Brooks Center today. Earlier in the week the Grade 6/7 cohort ventured to Polson Park for PE, utilizing the equipment (with plenty of sanitizer on hand!) in the park and playing games. The opportunities to walk to such destinations while following COVID protocols, have been advantageous and thoroughly enjoyed by both staff and students.

He is Risen. We hope you all had a joyous Easter weekend and found ways to take in the glorious sunshine that it provided.
Mr. Pfannschmidt lowered the school flag today in respect of the death of His Royal Highness, the Duke of Edinburgh. In tradition, the flag will be at half-mast until sunset of the day of the funeral and memorial service.

The arrival of Monday, after Spring break greeted us all, with smiles and great chatter of our activities throughout Spring Break.
Although a short week, it was a week of preparation for today’s celebrated Seder Meal. We hope you had the opportunity to watch the live feed as Ms. Dressler’s Grade 7 class led the individual grades while sharing their own meal in reflection of the Last Supper. May you and your family be blessed as you celebrate the true meaning of Easter, from the reflection of Good Friday to the joy of Easter Sunday. Happy Easter!
