We would like to express our sincere gratitude for all the generous donations to our first annual “Night at the St. James Saloon”. Because of your contributions over $12,300.00 was raised, by far our biggest fundraiser of the year. The money raised will fund many of the year end field trips our students have grown to love.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Without all of you this event would not have been possible!

Today Ms. Dressler celebrated her last day of her 39 year teaching career! Ms. Dressler is moving to Victoria next week to begin her new job as the Director of Faith Formation and Evangelization for the Diocese of Victoria. Ms. Dressler has been a phenomenal teacher over the past 3 years at St. James School and she will be greatly missed. She has made an impact in the lives of thousands of children over her career. We wish her the absolute best in Victoria and we look forward to staying in touch with her and hearing about her new work on the island!
We are very pleased that Mrs. Marie Petrucci will take over the Grade 4 class until the end of the school year. We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Petrucci and her family back to St. James School after their year abroad.

Dear St. James School Community,
Thank you so much for the show of support you have demonstrated in these past few months. I am absolutely thrilled to have been selected as the new principal of St. James School. I look forward to coming to work every morning and there is nowhere I would rather be.
I am excited to roll up my sleeves and begin planning for next year. We are all so lucky to be part of this close-knit community with many good days ahead. I am fortunate to have many great relationships with members of our school and parish community and I look forward to getting to know those people I haven’t yet met!
